Old School Knife Works is proud to present this once in lifetime opportunity.    This set was originally built by Bob Enders of Michigan.   Bob passed away in 2007 but was a phenomenal knife maker and way ahead of his time regarding the popularity of custom slip-joints.    The 19 knives represented here are all built using exact 1920's era Remington specs.   The set was built for Mr. Leroy Dibble after the intial proto-type knife, R3843, was made by Bob Enders for Mr. Dibble.    The purpose of the prototype was for Mr. Enders to see if he could perform the difficult tooling involved in the R3843 as it was likely to be the most difficult knife to make.    It is also available seperately here at Old School Knife Works as are the same 18 model lineup built from Plexiglass by Jay's Knives, as well as the same 18 model lineup built from wood also built by Jay's Knives.

Mr. Enders only built two complete sets.   The 1st is this one which originally went to Mr. Dibble and it is unknown whether a 2nd set was ever created, though paperwork included in the purchase indicates that a 2nd set was to me made and kept by the Bob Enders.

Additionally, the original set was to have 18 knives included.   Those 18 are included as refererenced by the original paperwork in the photos, but we are also including a 19th knife that is described as R1253 that features an unlined thong hole.   It is not known whether Remington actually produced this knife or not.   If they did, it is most certainly is the rarest of all Remingtons.

This collection contains:

-Set of 18 original Bob Enders Remingtons

-The R1253 with the Unlined Thong Hole

-The book "Remington Bullet Knives" that in inspired this collaboration

-The original paperwork & photos from Mr. Enders

-Display case and model number tags for each knife.

If you are a Remington collector, I can assure you that this collection would be the centerpiece.
